Miracle

I knew nothing of the world
not love, not wisdom, not life itself
Til I was handed miracles

born of love, real pain, pure joy

  1. Very nice poem. I think it also works as a micro story. The third verse is the climax. I like that it is open to a variety of interpretations.

    1. Oh yes they do Brian. I do not get to spend each and every day with all five. But when we do get together, all of us, it's heavenly. I cook. They bake. We shop. Tickle. Play water balloons. Watch OLD DVDs and movies. Sing. Read in silence.

They're a miracle, a joy forever! Whatever pain is just by the way. Nothing, if one considers the joys they bring! Great write, Ma'am!

    1. Yes, Claudia. That is why I understand separation anxiety terribly! However, it's all about LOVE. Had a chat on life beyond college with one of them yesterday. And the cycle goes on.
