Fragile

Fragile is our existence of peace

headache
broken glass
a cut in the garden
words that are crass

sarcasm
cracked egg
answers that are vague

empty milk bottle
makes you fly off the handle

slipping on melting snow

Fragile is our existence

  1. More than just! It'll not change. The political will is forever off target.Depends on who is calling the shots and all others facing the end of the barrel. Thoughtful thoughts Ninot Ma'am!

  4. Peace is indeed fragile on a personal and societal level.

On the grand scale I fear for our future as mankind is warring by nature.

    But I live in hope...

  7. I really like the contrast between the first line and the last line of this poem! Fragile indeed. Good to see you, Ninot.

  8. I think you capture well the state of our culture as we endure crisis after crisis. The stress comes out in the small things that have become overwhelming because the big things are like a tsunami drowning us in its wake.

  10. So much to tip the balance to darkness but I do believe in spite of it all, we can tip the balance to light and goodness. Hayes Spencer is Kanzensakura
