Fashionably late?

Summer ends and autumn chills
Bring together warms hands
A mask hides your lovely face

But not your gasp of surprise

You see me, all that is
Important for a dance and shared breath
of loveliness and wonder

Behind The Manor's doors

And all I care about
Your shapely lips that can cover mine
Today and always

But most of all - at midnight

***

The Willow Ball is here

And we dance up the stairs.

  1. Ninot Ma'am,
Such a beautiful array of mask and add-ons to complete the dressing. These are special items not readily available. Would be a big attraction!
Am not going! Rickety bones creaking for any form of dancing. Have a fine time!

    2. The music alone takes you back in time Sir Pakcik. The Willow Ball is for all poets at heart - when we close our eyes, the waltz and the tango come to life.

    1. Dear Helen
Of course we can trade masks for a minute or two. And while we are at that, let's trade dancing partners. I would love to have Jude for a while. And in cyberspace, Rudy is a divine dancer!

    1. Hush, let us keep the name of the master mask maker's name a secret for now.

You have exquisite taste, I might add.
