Haiku Heights : First

The chilly air
Leaves find their way home
First snow falls

A slight warm breeze
The world turns alive
First buds appear

What an orchestra
Of flowers and bees
First sun rays shine

The most beautiful
Golden amber red
First leaves fly

  1. Ninot Ma'am,
How nostalgic! Tugs on the memories! Time and space are not a hindrance anymore. Reminiscent upon reflection anywhere at all in the world. Falling leaves! It is just poetry! Great write, Ma'am!

    1. Certainly, the loveliest orchestra is from nature, Grace. How much longer will we be privileged to enjoy them?

    1. Dear Bruce, don't we normally wait for those first so anxiously? The first snow, the first buds and flowers? They are magical.

    1. Dear Brian,
Autumn was always my favorite. I arrived in Canada in September 1983 and on my birthday, visited the Niagara Falls. It was beautiful and chilly, the air was crisp and so alive with possibilities.
