Ecstasy

i n e c s t a s y

Her breath - a perfume
That made men delirious
In the summer heat

Her translucent skin
A pulsing beacon, a promise
Of untold heights

Her hair - a snare
That entangled their passion
Deadly in winter.

Deadly.

  5. Dear Brian,
I like this particular line too. Tess gave us such an amazingly erotic prompt to work with this week.

    1. Dear Tumblewords,
I was surprised to see your Medusa, always expecting a Haiku or Sernyu. I am glad you liked this.

    1. Maybe you would love it better this way...

      Ses souffle était un parfum
Cela fait des hommes en délire

      Sa peau translucide - invitant
      Un promis du sensualite

      Ses cheveux - un piège
      Cela empêtré leur passion

      Mortel.

  18. This piece trembles with drama Ninot!

Thank you for your kind comments - re the cats, our two original cats are Malaysian, with bent tails. One is from Port Dickson while the other was found as a kitten in the car park at KLCC. Even though they both had difficult starts to life, they are not very welcoming to our recent additions.

  19. Dear Isabel,
Thank you for your lovely comments. Crookshanks has a bent tail too. What would we do without our cats? Cats at KLIA?

  20. Sorry, it was KLCC. I remember, in Canada, stray cats found sanctuary behind the Parliament house in Ottawa.

  24. I loved the movie and when I saw the image , slowly the movie slipped in the poem weaving its way slowly until I could not see where the poem ended and the story telling started.
